Amber Betances M.S., CCC-SLP

Founder & Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist 

Amber Betances is a New York City native of Dominican descent who grew up speaking Spanish and spending summers in the Dominican Republic—an experience that shaped her passion for language and culture.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences from Loyola University Maryland and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Florida International University. Amber began her career in Miami as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in private practice while completing her graduate studies, and later moved to the Tampa Bay Area where she has served children across both private practices and the school district.

Amber is experienced in evaluating and treating a wide range of communication needs, including articulation disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, fluency, and feeding challenges. She is committed to creating individualized, culturally responsive care plans that support each child’s growth, confidence, and voice.

Amber believes every child deserves to be heard—because they are the future.

Outside the therapy room, you can find her at Pilates class, working out, or enjoying quality time with her family, friends, and two beloved dogs, Mambo and Maisy.
